Our Story

Since 1978, ACIS Educational Tours has guided teachers and students on over a half million unforgettable tours. Our commitment to changing lives one-by-one has made ACIS the best known, most respected name in educational travel.

In 1996, the head of the music department of St. Anthony’s High School of South Huntington, New York, came to us with a special request. He asked if we would consider organizing a performance tour for the school’s choir, since all of the school’s educational tours had been organized by us. We said yes—and St. Anthony’s High School Choir tour to Europe of 1996 became our very first performance tour.

More than ten years later, there is now a separate division of ACIS that handles performing arts tours, called Encore Tours. Encore specializes in organizing custom itineraries for choirs, orchestras, marching bands, dance troupes, music appreciation tours and drama troupes, and takes thousands of performers of all ages to Europe annually.
