Itinerary

DAY 1: OVERNIGHT FLIGHT
Departure today for your performance tour and pilgrimage of France, Spain, and Portugal. Dinner and breakfast served on board.

DAY 2: LOURDES
Your journey across the Atlantic Ocean brings you first to France’s capital, Paris. Change planes and continue to the southern town of Biarritz. Upon arrival you’ll meet your tour manager, and board the coach for your transfer to the site that gathers pilgrims from around the world, Lourdes. Check into your hotel, and enjoy the rest of the day to explore at your leisure.

DAY 3: LOURDES
A walking tour with your Tour Manager shows you the Sanctuary and Grotto of Massabielle, home to Bernadette Soubirous who saw a series of visions, beginning in the year 1858. Millions, including the lame and sick, visit each year to pay homage to this holy place. This evening you may present the ministry for mass at a local church, or you may present a formal concert. Dinner and overnight in Lourdes.

DAY 4: MADRID
After checkout this morning, board the bus for your 7-hour drive to the capital of Espana, Madrid. Arrive in time for hotel check in and free time. We recommend you take some time out for shopping along the Gran Via, or sample the lavish lifestyle of Spain’s Bourbon kings in the Palacio Real. Dinner and overnight in Madrid.

DAY 5: MADRID
Your morning sightseeing tour will show you all Madrid has to offer from the busy Puerta del Sol and Cibeles Fountain to the Plaza Mayor. In your free afternoon you might want to soak up the impressive art of the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. This evening travel outside the city walls for your performance.

DAY 6: SALAMANCA
Travel westward today to Salamanca with a stop en route at the magnificent palace monastery of El Escorial and the Valley of the Fallen. Here you will visit the monument to the million men who died in the Spanish Civil War, and the tomb of Generalisimo Franco. Arrive in Salamanca and check into your hotel. Dine together as a group.

DAY 7: FATIMA
Today’s destination is Fatima, village of the visionaries Jacinta, Francisco and Lucia. Today you will have the opportunity to participate in the Holy Mass at one of the chapels in the Shrine, and also participate in the candlelight procession. This evening present ministry for the Mass or perform a formal concert.

DAY 8: FATIMA
You’ll have more time today to explore Fatima on your own or with your tour manager. Visit the Shrine, and the tombs of the visionaries. This evening you’ll participate in the Eucharistic Procession. Dinner and overnight in Fatima.

DAY 9: LISBON
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and board your motor coach for the drive to Lisbon. See the sights of this great city and once the capital of the world’s greatest maritime empire. View the Monument of the Discoveries, Alfama district, Rossio Square, St. George’s Castle and Jeronimo’s Monastery. The rest of the day is free to wander the cobbled alleys and squares of old Lisbon.

DAY 10: RETURN TO THE USA
Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the USA.
