Itinerary

DAY 1: DEPART
Depart on your 12-day concert tour to Italy and Salzburg!

DAY 2: SALZBURG
Arrive in Munich and meet your Tour Manager. Transfer to Salzburg for an orientation with your Tour Manager.

DAY 3: SALZBURG
Salzburg welcomes you! After breakfast, enjoy sightseeing of Salzburg with a local guide to see the Mirabell Gardens, the Sound of Music courtyard and the birthplace of Mozart. This afternoon travel to nearby Hallein Salt Mines for a tour, then return to Salzburg where you will present your first concert of the tour.

DAY 4: PUSTERIA VALLEY
After breakfast at your hotel, travel south into Italy and the Pusteria Valley, the location of the Festival. Join in the fun at the special Tyrolese Feast day in Villabassa—one of the festival’s three feasts—where you will meet and mingle with other international choir groups. You will also have a performance later today at either an indoor venue or one of the special open air exhibitions.

DAY 5: PUSTERIA VALLEY
Take the morning to enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Today you will take part in the "Choir’s Parade" in San Candido, gathering in the Piazza del magistrate in costume where you will perform pieces in unison with international choirs.

DAY 6: VENICE MAINLAND
Join the closing ceremony in Sesto this morning. Afterwards, board your bus and head south into the Veneto region for a visit of Verona and its Roman arena. Continue to your hotel on the Venice mainland. The evening is yours to rest at the hotel or to explore the city.

DAY 7: VENICE MAINLAND
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before a full day excursion to Venice. You may choose to explore the city’s famous canals, majestic palaces or stroll through famous St. Mark’s Square. This afternoon you will perform for the patrons of Venice. Return to your hotel for dinner.

DAY 8: FLORENCE
Drive south today stopping in Padua for a visit of St. Anthony’s Basilica. Continue to Florence in time for dinner. You may choose to dine at your hotel or one of the local restaurants.

DAY 9: FLORENCE
After breakfast, enjoy a morning guided sightseeing of Florence, which includes a visit of the Accademia to see Michelangelo’s David. Later today perform at a venue either in Florence or rural Tuscany. Return to your hotel for dinner and free time.

DAY 10: ROME
Drive to Rome this morning with a stop en route in Assisi for a visit of the stone cell where St. Francis lived as well as the incredible frescoes in the Basilica of St. Francis. Arrive in Rome and check in to your hotel.

DAY 11: ROME
This morning a local guide introduces you to the Vatican Museums and the famous Sistine Chapel ceiling, before visiting St. Peter’s Basilica. This afternoon is free to explore Rome’s many treasures. After dinner perform your final concert of the tour.

DAY 12: DEPARTURE
Transfer to the airport for the return flight home.
