Encore Tours Photography Contest

Encore Tours is seeking submissions for the 2010 Photo Contest. We want to see some of the best photographs you take during your trip. Organize a few highlights (3-5), then upload them to our Flickr Group and you'll be in the running to win some great prizes!

6 entries will be chosen and proudly displayed on our website.

1st Place- $500 to Amazon.com
2nd Place- $300 to Amazon.com
3rd Place- $200 to Amazon.com
3 Honorable mentions - $50 to Amazon.com

Contest Guidelines:

The Student Photo Contest is open only to 2009 Encore and ACIS participants (traveling between Oct. 15, 2009 - August 13, 2010) with birthdates after 1987. All photos submitted must be the original work of the participant submitting them.

1. First, upload your photos to Flickr.com. If you don’t have a Flickr account, you can easily create one at Flickr.com using a Yahoo account. Next join our “ACIS Student Photo Contest” Group.

2. Put your photos in a set called “ACIS Contest," and add your photos to the group by clicking “Send to Group” on the photo’s page. This way we can share it with everyone!

3. Send us a Flickr message that includes the following information:

Your full name and Encore Tours ID number
Your school
Your group leader’s name
The name of your trip

4. Email us high resolution copies to contest@acis.com.

If possible, please zip or stuff your photos. If you have trouble emailing your series, try using YouSendit.com. This is a free site that enables you to send large files without needing your email server.

Future Encore Tours advertising and publicity material may include photographs submitted to the contest. By entering the contest you consent to the use of your photographs and photographic likenesses.

Special Notes:

The higher the resolution the better. Shoot for 300 dpi.
Color and B&W images will be accepted.
Your entries will be judged on composition of the image and significance of the content, meaning we don’t want posed pictures in front of monuments. Think National Geographic.

DEADLINE: August 13, 2010. The winners will be announced on September 1st.
