Arrive in the capital of Hungary: Budapest! Your Encore Tour Manager will meet you at the airport. After checking into your hotel, have dinner together this evening. (B,D)
After breakfast at the hotel (provided everyday of your trip), see Budapest by foot with a local guide! On the tour, you will be able to enter Matthias Church and Fisherman Bastion. Have lunch on your own. Then, rehearse in the afternoon for your evening concert. Possible venues could include the Listz Academy, Vigado Concert Hall or MOM Cultural Center (pending availability). Have dinner on your own this evening. (B)
This morning after breakfast. Have a morning tour of Budapest’s Jewish Quarter and visit the Dohany Street Synagogue. Then, see Parliament and have an independent lunch. This evening, have a folklore dinner in a local restaurant -- complete with live gypsy music and dancing! (B,D)
This morning after breakfast, transfer to the beautiful city of Bratislava. Upon arrival, take guided sight seeing tour of the historic center of this magnificent city. Have dinner on your own this evening. (B)
Set off today to explore the nearby musically rich city of Vienna with local guides in the morning. You’ll see Vienna’s famous sites to gain an understanding as to why this city is considered the City of Music. Return to Bratislava and have dinner on your own. (B)
Check out of your hotel and depart for Prague! En route, visit the town and UNESCO Heritage Site of Telc! Alternatively, you will visit the town of Trebic, which is filled with Jewish history. Have an independent lunch and, then, arrive in Prague! After you check into your hotel, have dinner on your own. (B)
See Prague! Your tour will be on bus and by foot. Afterwards, have an independent lunch. You will then rehearse for your evening concert which may be a joint performance. Potential venues could include Church of the Holy Saviour or the Czech Museum of Music (pending approval). Have dinner together in a local restaurant. (B,D)
Have a morning tour of the Prague Jewish Quarter, which includes entrance to the Jewish Museum and Old-New Synagogue. After an independent lunch, rehearse in the afternoon for your farewell concert. Potential venues include Smetana Hall or the Rudolfinum (pending approval). Afterwards, celebrate your successful tour on a Vltava River Cruise with a buffet dinner. (B,D)
Transfer to the airport for return flight to the United States.
