This fabulous cultural exchange opportunity introduces you to the ingredients and flavors that make up traditional local specialties such as Maltese bread with a tomato paste called kunserva; pastries known as pastizzi; qassatat (mini pea and ricotta pies); timpana, a baked pasta; tuna ftira, a flatbread with tuna and olives; Bigilla (local hummus); peppered goat cheese; and traditional sweets.
