Prelude is one of the ways we support and recognize our directors. Global Conferences, organized by ACIS, give qualifying directors an opportunity to experience destinations firsthand, develop ideas for future group travel, and connect with fellow educators. Each hosted program combines guided visits, cultural experiences, and practical destination research that can inform a future Encore tour. While no two conferences are exactly alike, each includes airfare, accommodations, breakfasts, planned excursions, and other program elements. Where permitted by program terms and the rules of your school, district, or organization, you may also bring a companion. To qualify for a Global Conference, you must have 20 paying participants on an international trip before July 15, or 25 paying participants before October 15. Participation is subject to availability, program terms, and the rules of your school, district, or organization. We encourage eligible directors to register for their chosen conference as soon as possible. Registrations and changes cannot be accepted after the deadlines listed above. Encore Tours will send you a conference program summary once your eligibility has been verified. Please review it carefully, sign the form, and return it to Encore Tours within two weeks, noting any necessary changes. Airline tickets and hotel confirmations will be sent by express delivery within one week of departure. All accounts must be paid in full before tickets are released. Any balance still unpaid one month before departure will result in cancellation. Registrations canceled because of nonpayment are not eligible for a replacement conference or other benefit.
