Itinerary This itinerary is a preliminary outline and may be updated as departure approaches and plans are finalized. Exciting events are still being confirmed, so stay tuned for the full experience! Day 1 OVERNIGHT FLIGHT Depart the U.S. on your overnight flight to Italy. Day 2 ROME Arrive in Rome and transfer to the 4-star Hotel Michelangelo. In the evening, gather for a welcome aperitif before transferring to Santa Maria Maggiore for a special opening event. Return to the hotel later in the evening. (D) Day 3 ROME Participate in a Gregorian chant workshop led by expert instructors, followed by free time in the city. In the afternoon, enjoy optional venue inspections and a private visit to the opera house. Attend an evening opera performance. Dinner is on your own. (B) Day 4 ROME Begin your day with visits of two spectacular performance venues. Afterwards you may wish to attend the Papal Blessing in St. Peter’s Square or else enjoy some time to explore the city at your leisure. Late afternoon we depart the hotel by bus for a visit at Oratorio del Gonfalone where we will marvel at its frescos and savor a private orchestral performance in this special setting.
