Festival des Trois Chateaux

The Festival des Trois Chateaux is an international festival built upon the pillars of collaboration and creativity, and open to both choral ensembles and individual performers from all across the world. This festival is located in the scenic Loire Valley, which also holds tremendous historical significance, having been home to Leonardo da Vinci during his years in France.

Enjoy the camaraderie of singers from around the globe, performance opportunities at three of the most prominent Chateaux’s in the Loire Valley, a masterclass led by a world-renowned musical director, exceptional food, and extraordinary vineyards. This will be the festival’s inaugural event, and we are tremendously excited about offering this new opportunity to any interested group leaders!

2024 Festival
We regret to inform you that the Festival des Trois Chateaux will not take place in 2024. However, we are excited to announce that it will return in the future, with plans to regroup in 2025 or 2026. 2022 Festival Overview
June 23-26, 2022

Perform with Maestro Till Aly, the lauded German conductor, Parisian resident, and founder of the Chœur de Paris, for a memorable performance of the Faure “Requiem” in the enshrined splendor of the Cathedrale de Blois. This performance will be preceded by a Masterclass led by the Maestro. This is a unique opportunity to perform with Le Chœur de Paris and the Chorale du Conservatoire de Blois!

  • Thursday, June 23, 2022: Welcome evening in the courtyard of the Chateau de Blois.
  • Friday, June 24, 2022: Afternoon performance in the Chapelle of le Chateau de Chambord.
  • Saturday, June 25, 2022: Evening performance in le Chateau de Cheverny — the venue that inspired le Chateau de Moulinsart in The Adventures of Tintin.
  • Sunday, June 26, 2022: Grand performance of the Faure “Requiem” with Maestro Aly.

About the Artistic Director

Till Aly

German conductor Till Aly, who has lived in Paris for over a decade, combines musical excellence with all the characteristics of a versatile personality that lives entirely in the present. In his work, Aly convinces with his “profound understanding of music and his precision in detail” and conveys “an impressive spectrum of nuances and colors in great clarity,” drawing on full stylistic competence and deep musical empathy.
