Itinerary

4 Days / 3 New York

Arrive in NYC, the city known as the “Big Apple”, a true melting pot of cultures, styles, and ideas. New York reflects the creative energy and diversity that makes America great while maintaining its own unique personality. Meet your Encore Tour Manager and transfer into the city. Visit the High Line Elevated Park and have lunch on your own in Chelsea Market. In the afternoon check-in to your hotel and take a moment to relax. Tonight, have dinner together at Ellen’s Stardust Diner. Following dinner, continue on to the theatre district to see your first Broadway show! Stop for a group photo in Times Square before heading back to your hotel.

After breakfast at your hotel, provided each morning of your tour, head over to your up-close-and-personal Broadway in the Classroom Clinic where you will work on theatrical techniques by a Broadway cast member! Next, head to Rockefeller Center where you will have lunch on your own. Have some free time for shopping on Fabulous 5th Avenue! Possibly explore Tiffany’s, Prada or Gucci! In the afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of Radio City Music Hall and NBC Studios. Finally, top off your day at the ‘Top of the Rock’ for an aerial view of this iconic city! Dinner will be at a Manhattan restaurant tonight. Afterwards, see your next Broadway show! After the show, participate in a Q&A with a Broadway cast member. Return to your hotel for a good night’s sleep.

Board a ferry this morning for a ride to Liberty and Ellis Islands. Witness America’s most famous icon, the Statue of Liberty, and travel around Ellis Island where you can photograph the island and its Immigration Museum. Afterwards, spend some time at the World Trade Center site to reflect on the events of 9/11 and witness the memorial and new buildings that stand in its place. In the afternoon, transfer to Chinatown for lunch on your own. Spend some time exploring Chinatown and Little Italy with your Tour Manager. Tonight, dinner will be at a local restaurant before returning to the theatre district to see your final Broadway show!

The highlight of your morning will be a backstage tour at Lincoln Center. If you’re lucky you may even catch a New York Philharmonic rehearsal! Visit Rockefeller Center in the afternoon for lunch on your own. Return home tonight.
