Itinerary

11 Days / 4 Haarlem / 4 Bruges / 1 Paris

Arrive in Amsterdam and meet your Encore Tour Manager. Transfer to Haarlem, located nearby. Check into your hotel and freshen up. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Indonesian Rijsttafel feast, reflecting the historic Dutch connection with Indonesia. (D)

After breakfast, embark on a guided walking tour of Amsterdam. Explore the picturesque canals and historic architecture of the city. In the afternoon, participate in an interactive Dutch cooking class to learn the art of Dutch cuisine. In the evening, enjoy a performance at the Concertgebouw Orchestra. (B, L, D)

Start your day with an excursion to Zaanse Schans to see working windmills dating from the 17th century, followed by a visit to the colorful fishing village of Volendam. Return to Amsterdam in the afternoon for an evening rehearsal in preparation for tonight’s concert performance. (B, D)

Enjoy a leisurely morning exploring Amsterdam at your own pace. Visit attractions such as the Albert Cuyp street market, De Hallen, or Rembrandt’s final resting place at Westerkerk. In the afternoon, reconvene for a recital performance at St. Bavo Church where you’ll have access to the world-renowned Müller organ. (B,D)

Depart for Delft in the morning for a behind-the-scenes tour of the pottery-making process, followed by a visit to the factory. Enjoy an afternoon recital in Delft before transferring to Bruges. Check into your hotel and unwind. In the evening, experience the charm of Bruges with a scenic canal ride. (B, D)

Embark on a morning walking tour of Bruges, exploring its winding canals, ornate houses, and medieval cobbled streets. Visit landmarks such as the Burg and Markt squares, and the Begijnhof garden. Spend the afternoon rehearsing for your ensemble’s next concert. (B, D)

In the morning, visit the stunning city of Ghent, where you’ll have time to explore with your Tour Manager. Return to Bruges in the afternoon for a visit to the Mini Harp Museum and attend an evening concert performed by harpist Luc Vanlaere. (B,D)

Gather in the lobby to meet your local guides and embark on a captivating guided walking tour through the medieval city. After exploring its wonders, rendezvous at a boat launch for a serene cruise, offering a unique perspective of the city’s landmarks. Following the cruise, take your time to enjoy lunch and dinner at your leisure. Later, stroll to your concert venue and commence rehearsal at the enchanting St. Giles Church. Prior to the concert, gather for a moment of devotion. Then, immerse yourselves in the joy of performing at St. Giles Church! Conclude the evening by walking back to your hotel alongside your Tour Manager. (B)

Embark on a visit to a local chocolatier in the morning to learn about the process of making famous chocolates and enjoy some delicious treats. In the afternoon, perform your next recital in Bruges. (B, D)

Check out of your hotel and depart for France. Stop in Reims for an afternoon recital at a local venue, such as Notre Dame de Reims. Enjoy a group lunch and champagne tasting at a local vineyard. Continue to Paris, where you’ll check into your hotel and enjoy a gala dinner. (B, L, D)

Transfer to the airport for return flight to the United States.
