Warsaw also suffered near-complete destruction at the end of WWII, and much of the city was rebuilt during an era of Socialist rule. Today’s city reflects its tumultuous past and makes for a fascinating collection of eclectic neighborhoods. Upon arrival, meet your Encore Tour Manager and begin exploring this historic city together. Tonight, experience the culinary delights of Poland with a welcome dinner together. (D)

An expert guide will take you on a sightseeing tour of Warsaw this morning. Explore the main sights including the Old Town square and the iconic Syrenka statue which has come to symbolize the city. Entrance is included today to the Royal Castle. This afternoon, rehearse for tonight’s debut concert performance! (B,D)

This morning, enjoy a visit to the Fredrik Chopin Museum, where you will learn about the life of Warsaw’s musical son. This afternoon, enjoy an excursion to Zelazowa Wola, the picturesque village where Chopin was born. Explore this charming village, with its winding streams and scenic willows with your Tour Manager before returning to Warsaw. Tonight, enjoy tickets to see the Warsaw Philharmonic perform! (B,D)

Check out of the hotel today and travel across the country to the Bohemian city of Wroclaw. The Old City was originally built across several small islands, which is still reflected in the lovely bridges and architecture today. Check into your next hotel and begin to explore this charming city with your Tour Manager tonight. (B,D)

Today’s sightseeing tour introduces you to the highlights of Wroclaw. See the Rynek, the Wroclaw Town Hall, and Cathedral Island. Keep an eye out for the hidden Wroclaw Gnomes throughout the city. Today’s journey brings Krakow, the second-largest city in Poland. En route, visit Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration Camp, now a heartbreaking memorial to the more than one million Jews who died here during the Holocaust. In the afternoon, check into your Krakow hotel and start exploring this beautiful, historic city. (B,D)

Begin your day with a guided sightseeing tour to view the façade of the spectacular Wawel Castle, one of the country’s most important historic and cultural sites, and visit inside its Cathedral. Then enjoy a fascinating visit to the enamelware factory once owned by Oskar Schindler, a hero who saved the lives of 1,200 Jews and whose story was popularized in the famous Steven Spielberg movie Schindler’s List. (B,D)

Today’s excursion brings you to the Wieliczka Salt Mines where you will have a guided tour and admire the beautiful sculptures made by miners using salt rocks in the mines.
