Depart from the USA.

Welcome to Vilinius, the capital of Lithuania. This city is known for its baroque architecture, seen especially in its medieval Old Town! Meet your Tour Manager who will transfer you to your hotel for check-in. After an arrival briefing and orientation, enjoy your first dinner overseas in this beautiful Baltic city!

A guided coach and walking tour of the area will show you the capital of Lithuania and its largest city. It was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. Surrounded by forests and hills, this city is full of architectural wonder and home to some of the area’s most famous thinkers, writers, and artists. Tonight, rehearse and perform your debut concert performance of the tour!

Depart for Latvia this morning. Enjoy a tour of Riga by bus and foot to discover excellent examples of Art Nouveau as well as the Medieval Architecture of cloisters, churches, warehouses, and lodgings. On your tour you will see the UNESCO heritage center, a panoramic view of the President’s Palace, the unique Art Nouveau area, the Freedom Monument, and Boulevard Circle with the National Opera and Latvian University.

Visit the Estonian summer resort area of Jurmala, which is sometimes referred to as ‘The Baltics French Riviera’. After a short tour with your tour manager, have time for lunch on your own. This afternoon, you will have a rehearsal followed by your second performance of the tour!

Board the motorcoach this morning and transfer to Tartu to discover this university town and a city of youth! The time-honored university, museum-rich, and Hanseatic city of Tartu lies on the banks of the River Emajõgi. Located in southern Estonia, it is the second largest city in the country and the oldest in the Baltic States. It is a modern city and the cradle of the Estonian Song Festival.

Enjoy a visit the Estonian National Museum, devoted to folklorist Jakob Hurt’s heritage, Estonian ethnography, and folk art. This afternoon, a recital performance may be possible for your ensemble!

Journey to Tallinn today. Tallinn blends medieval tranquility and modern urban life with its many shops, galleries, souvenir markets, outdoor cafés and restaurants. Explore with your local guide as you pass through the historical Upper Town, featuring the 13th-century Cathedral of Saint Mary the Virgin, the oldest church in mainland Estonia. You’ll also visit the ornate, onion-domed Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, built in 1900 under Russian rule. Panorama platforms offer scenic views of the sea and the town, and a tour of Lower Town shows off its medieval merchants’ and guild buildings and Tallinn’s Gothic Town Hall.
