Your trip begins in Salzburg, Mozart’s birthplace and one of the most picturesque cities in Europe. After spending 2 nights in this incredible city, you will head north to Prague, but not before stopping in Mondsee — famous for its appearance in the film The Sound of Music. Enjoy guided tours of the Smetana Museum and the Czech Museum of Music, before attending a performance of the opera “La traviata.” Your journey ends in Berlin, where you will take in the sights before attending an unforgettable farewell dinner and a performance by one of Berlin’s preeminent orchestras.

Your Tour Manager will meet you upon arrival in Munich and transfer you to the hotel in Salzburg, Austria. Located in the Salzach River Valley, Salzburg is one of the most picturesque of all European cities – indeed, it is all of Europe in concentrated form with a castle, cathedral, squares, gardens, spires and rivers. During the Holy Empire, it was called the northern Rome, due to the importance of the Prince Archbishops and the Baroque. The city’s reputation is based on a living musical tradition being the city of Mozart. Its beauty and vibrant musical life have made it one of Europe’s foremost cultural cities. Enjoy dinner in a restaurant this evening before turning in for a good night’s sleep!

This morning, start your day off with breakfast at the hotel before visiting the birthplace of Austria’s most famous son, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Afterwards, you will attend Sunday Mass at Salzburg Cathedral. After some time for lunch, board the bus this afternoon and head out of the city to the Hallein Salt Mines! The region’s salt mine has been mined for thousands of years and offers a fascinating glimpse into human history! Later, return to Salzburg and enjoy dinner together in a restaurant. (B,D)

This morning, check out of the hotel and board your coach for Prague in the Czech Republic. En route, you will first stop in Mondsee, one of the famous sites of the world-famous musical film, The Sound of Music! Next, visit the historic town of Ceske Budejovice to enjoy some free time with lunch on your own before continuing on to the Czech capital. On arrival, check into your hotel and have dinner together in restaurant. (B,D)

This morning, you will have a guided sightseeing tour of Prague with a local guide. Highlights include the Castle District, Charles Bridge and Old Town! This afternoon, take a guided tour of the famous concert venue at the Municipal House, followed by a trip to the historic fort of Vysehrad, where Dvorak and Smetana are buried. Dinner will be together in a restaurant tonight. (B,D)

This morning, continue your musical journey by taking guided tours of the Smetana Museum and the Czech Museum of Music. Enjoy the afternoon to explore on your own. This evening, you will attend La Traviata. Enjoy dinner together at a local restaurant tonight. (B,D)

This morning after breakfast, check out of your hotel and depart for Berlin. En route, you will visit the village of Nelahozeves and the historic German city of Dresden that was once the seat of the Saxon Kings and later, heavily bombed during WWII. Continue your journey to the German capital of Berlin and check into your hotel. This evening, enjoy dinner together as a group in a restaurant. (B,D)

This morning, you will have a guided sightseeing tour of Berlin with a local guide that highlights the major landmarks of the city including the Brandenburg Gate. Later, head to Museum Island where you will be able to choose from the many museums to visit. This evening, enjoy a farewell dinner together in a local restaurant before attending an evening performance by one of Berlin’s major city orchestras such as the Berlin Philharmonic or Deutsches Symphony Orchestra!
