Fly to Costa Rica for an exciting tropical musical adventure! Arrive in San Jose and meet your Encore Tour Manager, board your touring bus and head to your hotel for check in. After an arrival briefing, enjoy dinner in San Jose.
This morning visit a local choir, practice your Spanish and enjoy a joint rehearsal. Later on your Tour Manager will introduce you to the city's highlights on a sightseeing tour. Then prepare for your first international joint concert performance this evening.
Board a river boat this morning and enjoy the sights and sounds of the rainforest as you paddle along the Sarapiqui River. Along the way you will likely see monkeys, sloths, iguanas, crocodiles and many varieties of tropical bird - be sure to bring your cameras and binoculars! Later today you'll check in to your hotel in the area of Arenal and unwind with a dip in the Baldi hot springs.
A morning hike brings you to the La Fortuna waterfalls for a visit and a swim. Then take in spectacular views of the Arenal volcano, a perfect cone over 5,000 feet high. Then take to the trees on an exhilarating canopy tour. Later this afternoon you will rehearse for your concert performance at La Fortuna this evening.
Return to San Jose today stopping en route at the magnificent Poas Volcano, one of the most accessible active volcanoes in the world. You can stand at the edge of its crater and look down 1,000 feet to the geyser-like eruptions. Continue to a coffee plantation for a visit then check in to your hotel in San Jose. This evening enjoy a farewell dinner and Latin dancing show.
Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the United States.
