Since February 14, 1997, the property of the former convent of San Jose de Gracia de Religiosas Capuchinas has assumed a public vocation by receiving the City Museum, a cultural center belonging to the Querétaro Institute of Culture and the Arts, whose mission privileged the dissemination of contemporary art. It is with this profile that the museum has marked styles of cultural offering where diversity and tolerance prevail, giving rise to a continuous sample of pictorial, photographic, and sculptural exhibitions; plays; dance; music recitals; as well as performance and installation proposals and many more intellectual activities. The City Museum itself is a meeting point for concerns. Querétaro
