Museo iconográfico del Quijote

Established in 1987 by collector Eulalia Ferrer Rodriguez, this museum boasts a rich collection of over 1,200 pieces inspired by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra’s Don Quixote de la Mancha. Showcasing works by prominent Mexican and foreign artists and writers, the collection includes paintings, engravings, drawings, tapestries, coins, sculptures, porcelains, and ceramics from various periods and countries. Notable pieces feature contributions from artists like Raul Anguiano, Gabriel Flores, Salvador Dali, and writers such as Jose Hierro and Fernando del Paso. The focus is on artistic representations of the iconic characters Don Quixote and Sancho Panza.
