San Bernardino de Siena

This is one of the oldest and most influential colonial complexes in the state. Founded around 1552, it was the second building in Latin America, encompassing both the church and the cloister. Its exterior is distinguished by a series of battlements crowning the walls and an extensive arcade reminiscent of medieval fortresses. Inside, a remarkable Baroque altarpiece stands out. An imposing venue that can host concerts on its historic esplanade.
