Teatre Fortuny de Reus

The Fortuny opened its doors on November 16, 1882, with Gounod’s opera Faust. The theater was built according to the tastes of the time, under the direction of the architect Francesc Blanc, and achieved an obvious social, cultural, and civic role with a broad national impact. Currently, Fortuny offers a regular program from October to June, combining theater, music, opera, and dance and offering cultural projection through exhibitions, promoting young artists, and guided tours.
