Nestled in the heart of Central Europe, the Czech Republic and, specifically, Prague, have long been one of the most popular tour destinations for Encore groups. Prague is not only one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, but there is such a rich history of music and culture there, with a number of wonderful performance venues and consistently strong audiences. It was home to such world-class composers as Dvorak, Smetana, and Janacek, and, while not a native, Mozart was a frequent visitor and had a special affection for the city, remarking, “Meine Prager verstehen mich or My Praguers understand me.” In this week’s event, please join us as we take a virtual tour around the Czech capital with John Tregellas, Encore’s Head of Operations in Central Europe.
