The Chicago Symphony Center Event invites select school, youth, collegiate, community, and adult orchestras to perform at Orchestra Hall at Symphony Center. This one-day experience combines on-stage clinics, educational workshops, lunch, and a polished concert featuring three participating ensembles, with Encore managing the event from start to finish.

The Chicago Symphony Center Event gives directors a professionally coordinated day centered on focused learning, ensemble growth, and performance at Orchestra Hall.

On-Stage Clinic

Each participating ensemble receives a focused 45-minute clinic on stage at Orchestra Hall.

While one orchestra participates in its on-stage clinic, the other groups attend educational workshops.

Concert Performance

Three participating ensembles share the afternoon concert, with approximately 30 minutes of performance time for each group.

Lunch

Lunch is included during the event day, giving participating groups time to reset before the concert.

Encore provides planning guidance, event-day coordination, and production support from inquiry through performance day.
