The Meyerhoff Orchestra Event invites select ensembles to perform at Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore, Maryland. Designed for school, youth, collegiate, community, and adult orchestras, this one-day experience combines educational workshops, a polished concert setting, and Encore’s full event coordination. The Meyerhoff Orchestra Event is designed to give directors a clear, professionally coordinated experience centered on education, performance, and ensemble growth. 01 Performance Block Each participating ensemble receives a dedicated concert performance block at Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. 02 Clinics & Educational Workshops Students take part in clinician-led educational workshops designed to support musical preparation and ensemble growth. 03 Lunch Lunch is included during the event day, giving participating groups a natural time to reset and connect. 04 Encore Coordination Encore provides event-day coordination, planning guidance, and production support from inquiry through performance day. 05 Professional Development Credit Music educators have the opportunity to receive graduate-level professional development credit for attendance. Note Transportation Transportation is not included in the program price. Encore can discuss optional travel support or broader planning needs upon request. Encore staff greets your group, confirms staging details, and helps you settle into the day’s flow. 9:00 AM–12:30 PM Clinics and Educational Workshops Participate in clinician-led workshops designed to support ensemble growth, musical preparation, and student development. 12:30–2:00 PM Lunch Enjoy lunch with participating groups before the afternoon concert block. 2:00–4:00 PM Concert Performance Block Take the stage for your assigned concert performance block at the Meyerhoff. Professional pacing, organized transitions, and a true concert-hall environment make this the signature moment of the event. What types of orchestras can participate? School, youth, community, collegiate, and adult orchestras are welcome. Participation is limited, and we prioritize ensembles that are prepared for a polished, high-visibility venue experience. Do we need to share repertoire to submit interest? No. You can submit interest without repertoire. If you would like clinician input on your programming choices, you are welcome to share your repertoire once scheduling details are confirmed. How do we get started? Use the Request Event Details button to share your ensemble type, approximate size, and event goals. Encore will follow up with participation details and next steps. Can I customize this event? Yes. While the core event is designed as a structured one-day educational program, groups may choose to add optional elements such as hotel stays, meals, sightseeing, or additional musical experiences. Is transportation included? No. Transportation is not included in the program price. Encore can discuss optional transportation support or broader travel planning needs upon request. What is the payment schedule? A $300 initial payment will be invoiced after registration and is due upon receipt. The $300 initial payment is risk-free for 30 days after registration, or until 130 days prior to the event, whichever comes first. Registrations completed within 130 days of the event are not eligible for the 30-day risk-free initial payment period. Final balances will be invoiced separately and payment is due no later than 120 days prior to the event. If registration is completed within 130 days of the event, full payment is due immediately and the cancellation policy applies immediately upon registration. Do you offer protection plans for this program? All participants are covered by Encore Tours’ Basic Protection Plan. Upgraded protection plan options are not available for this one-day program.
