12 Days

Day 1 Overnight Flight

Depart from Houston on your overnight flight to Munich.

Day 2 Innsbruck

Arrive in Munich today and meet your Encore Experiences Tour Manager in the arrivals hall. Walk together to your deluxe private motorcoach and transfer to the beautiful city of Innsbruck, Austria. After check in at your hotel and time to freshen up, enjoy an introductory walking tour with your Tour Manager to aquaint you with your surroundings. Your accommodations are just a few minutes walk to the heart of Innsbruck and all major attractions. Enjoy a special welcome dinner at a local restaurant this evening. (D)

Day 3 Innsbruck

After breakfast at your hotel, meet a local guide for a tour of the historical center of Innsbruck. A highlight of the guided visit is a tour of the Hofkirche this morning which will be enhanced by a private concert for your group by members of Harmonia Stellarum in the Clooister of the Hofkirche. This afternoon enjoy free time for lunch on your own and to explore Innsbruck. Meet again to enjoy the spectacular view from the mountain heights. The evening is free in Innsbruck for you to dine on your own and enjoy this Alpine wonder. (B,D)

Day 4 Salzburg

Depart Innsbruck this morning after breakfast and hotel check out. Traveling towards Salzburg, enjoy a stop in Bad Ischl and a guided tour of Kaiservilla which offers amazing detail into the history of the Austrian Empire's Beloved Sisi. Before arriving in Salzburg, enjoy a second stop to tour the local saltmines. Upon arrival in Salzburg, check in to your centrally located totel and enjoy an orientation walking tour with your Tour Manager to familiarize yourself with this charming city. Enjoy a very special and festive dinner together above teh city of Salzburg at the Hohensalzburg Fortress. Members of Harmonia Stellarum will enchant you with song with a short program during dinner. Day 5 Salzburg

After breakfast at your hotel, meet a local guide for a city sightseeing tour that includes a visit of the elegant Mirabell gardens, an entrance to the Mozart Birthplace, Mozart apartments, and a special visit to the City's hgistoric Cathedral. The afternoon and evening are free for you to explore Salzburg at your own pace and discover a local restaurant as you dine on your own. (B,D)

Day 6 Linz

This morning after breakfast at your hotel, it's time to bid farewell to Salzburg and travel to the city of Linz. En route to Linz, stop in Kremsmunster for a special vist to the Benedictine Abbey featuring archives dating back over seven hundred years. After free time for lunch on your own, continue to Linz for check in at your hotel near all of the histroric sites and an evening free to explore the city center and dinner on your own. (B,D)

Day 7 Linz

After breakfast at your hotel, meet a local guide for a tour of the historical center and a very special guided tour of the Alter Dom (Old Cathedral) and an upclose view of the famous Brukner organ. Originally built during the Baroque period, Brukner himself redesigned the organ in the Romantic ideal. Your visit will teach you of the history of this instrument and the chance to hear it played in a private presentation. After free time for lunch on your own, travel to The St. Florian Abbey for a guided tour. This magnificent example of Baroque architecture is a feast for the eyes! Among the highlights of today's tour are the jaw-dropping library and its vast collection, the stately Imperial Hall, and the Abbey's crypt. Return to Linz for a bit of free time and a chance to freshen up before dinner together at a local restaurant where you will be joined by the parents of Mario Aschauer, Artistic Director of Harmonia Stellarum. Day 8 Vienna

Depart Linz this morning after breakfast. Heading towards the capitol city of Vienna, enjoy a stop and guided tour of the amazing Melk Abbey where there is another oportunity for you to experience a private performance in this historic venue by members of Harmonia Stellarum. Continue to the Imperial city of Vienna for hotel check-in and time to freshen up before a very special evening. Enjoy lite refreshments and a cocktail high above the Mirienplatz as you toast from atop St. Stephen's Cathedral! Next, walk to the nearby Sacher Hotel for an elegant dinner that finishes with the Hotel's famous desert, The Sacher Torte. Enjoy a free evening in Vienna after dinner. (B,D)

Day 9 Vienna

This morning after breakfast, enjoy a special guided tour of the National Library that includes a visit to the State Room and a private viewing of the the Musical Manuscripts. Your next visit will reach new hights as you visit the Palais where the Vienna Boys choir train. Your private guided tour ends with your private thirty-minute concert by the orld renowned Vienna Boys Choir! The evening is free to exlore and dine on your own in Vienna. (B)

Day 10 Vienna

After breakfast at your hotel, visit the Fransican Church for a private presentation on the church's organ. Also included today is a private guided tour of the Imperial Palace and Sisi's apartment. Next, travel to the border of the city fo a walking tour with a local guide that shows you the historic cemetary that is the resting place of so many important Viennese composers like Franz Schubert, Johannes Brahms, and Johanne Strauss. Enjoy some free time upon your return to the city center so that you may freshen up and prepare for another very special evening in Vienna. This evening's highlight is attending the Vienna Eugen Onegin. Enjoy a special pre-performance champagne reception with hors d'oeuvres in a private room of this histroric and elegant opera house, and premium orchestra seating. (B,R)

Day 11 Vienna

After breakfast at your hotel, journey outside Vienna to nearby Eisenstadt for a tour of the Esterhazy Palace where Haydn was court composer. From it's elegant residental rooms to the famous Haydnsaal where Haydn conducted many concerts, this tour is sure to be a highlight. Next, visit the Haydn Mausoleum where the famous composer was laid to rest. After lunch on your own, return to Vienna for a free late afternoon and time to freshen up before a special farewell dinner at a local restaurant. (B,D)

Day 12 Departure

Transfer to the airport for return flight to the United States. (B)
